Bed Fleeces These wool pile fleeces offer both warmth and comfort to the user who is seated or lying for long periods of time. The single pile fleece is also available with fitting straps. All are machine washable and can be tumble dried. Available in three sizes;

Repose Paediatric Mattress Overlay The Repose paediatric mattress overlay was developed specifically at the request of the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London and is now widely used in other children’s units. T he product is sized to fit the majority of paediatric bed frames and mattresses. Repose Mattress Overlay Repose products provide effective pressure redistribution for all people at risk of developing pressure ulcers, including those assessed as very high risk.  Repose is also appropriate for users with pressure related tissue damage - clinical supervision is advised where the damage is severe. Limitations for use Repose is not suitable for the following:

• Persons weighing in excess of 139kg
• Persons with unstable spinal fractures
• Where body shape is such that the person cannot be fully supported by the Repose mattress overlay or cushion

Repose is suitable for use with bed and trolley side rails subject to the bed or trolley manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate risk assessment Precautions If deterioration in skin condition is noted, clinical advice should be sought and, if so advised, use of the product discontinued. Repose Babytherm The Repose Babytherm overlay is a pressure relieving mattress for neonatal units and is suitable for use with the majority of standard incubators, cots, and warmers. The product is used as a pressure relieving aid for babies weighing 3kg and below in weight. Repose Babynest Acutely ill and immobilised neonates and children are at risk for pressure ulcers. The Repose Babynest is an adaptation of the Repose pressure ulcer prevention and treatment concept but is specifically aimed at reducing pressure ulcer formation during the first stages of a preterm infant’s life. The inability for premature infants to support their limbs can result in a range of developmental complications. The Repose Babynest aims to assist in the reduction of these issues. The Repose Babynest consists of a base mattress with an additional air filled border along the foot end of the product. These borders act as developmental boundaries that help with nesting the infant with or without additional padding (for example cotton sheeting). This also provides a safe and secure environment which has been suggested to promote positive response in neonatal growth and development.
